Life can bring suffering and challenges. Sadness, anger, and fear are just a few emotions we can feel. I can help you better understand how your feelings have served a purpose in your life. I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor and my designation is with ACCT and ACTA. My guiding principles include mindfulness, talk therapy, and building trust and safety in our sessions. My approach is based on the knowledge I have gained from my education and life experiences. I am an Indigenous counselor, and I counsel both Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. I have lived experiences from Sixty Scoop, Residential School, and Indian Hospital. I specialize in grief work, anger/abuse management, anxiety, and depression.
For my clients’ convenience, I offer online day/evening sessions. I believe counseling should be accessible to all, and I can achieve this by providing a sliding scale for those who need it. We can discuss this before setting up our first session.
